A native of Ardmore, Oklahoma, Matthew has had strong ties to the oil and gas industry throughout his life, as his father and both grandfathers worked in the industry in different capacities. Matthew attended Oklahoma City University from 2001-2005, where he studied Economics and Finance and was a member of three NAIA National Championship golf teams. In 2005, he was named an NAIA Academic All-American and received the Most Outstanding Economics Student Award from the Meinders School of Business. He continued his education at the University of Oklahoma where he received his J.D. and M.B.A. degrees in 2009.
Matthew worked as a landman during his time in law school, and since graduating in 2009 has worked for law firms in Dallas and Oklahoma City that concentrated on oil and gas title examination and curative. During his career, Matthew has prepared hundreds of drilling title opinions, division order title opinions, and mineral and leasehold acquisition title opinions. Matthew has extensive experience with river-related issues, Native American interests, BLM lands, and waterflood units. He has also prepared numerous title opinions covering large townsites in Oklahoma and Texas.
Matthew is an active member of the Oklahoma City Mineral Lawyers Society and Oklahoma City Association of Professional Landmen. He and his wife and two children live in Oklahoma City, and he enjoys Sooner sports and playing golf.

Aaron has demonstrated a dedication to the practice of oil and gas title examination through his education and experience. A native of Houston, Texas, with strong family ties to Oklahoma and the oil and gas industry, he became a fourth generation graduate of the University of Oklahoma when he received his B.B.A. in Energy Management, with minors in finance and history, in 2008. He continued his education at the University of Oklahoma, College of Law, where he received his J.D. in 2011 and served as an Articles Editor of American Indian Law Review. During his time at the University of Oklahoma, Aaron was repeatedly recognized for his focus on oil and gas, including as a 2009 Chesapeake Scholar, a 2010 Energy & Mineral Law Foundation General Fund Scholar, and a 2011 Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation Scholar.
Prior to co-founding Rison & Meek, PLLC, Aaron had continuously clerked and practiced as an attorney for law firms focused on real property law and oil and gas title examination since 2006. During his career as an attorney, Aaron has prepared hundreds of oil and gas title opinions, including drilling title opinions, division order title opinions, and mineral and leasehold acquisition title opinions. He has also developed unique and extensive experience with accretion and avulsion issues associated with title examination in areas affected by river movement.
Aaron is an active member of the Oklahoma City Mineral Lawyers Society and serves on the Executive Committee and as Legislative Affairs Co-Chair for the Oklahoma City Association of Professional Landmen. He and his wife and two children live in Norman, and he enjoys running, hunting, the outdoors, and Sooner sports.
